What is it about the blues?

Most of the time it's overly-simplistic and overly-repetitious, musically and lyrically.
But that same chord progression really speaks to how I view certain existential problems.

Thanks for posting mac.

I often say the same things, oneblood.

It seems simplistic, but I believe, that Muddy Waters is a hella musician :-)

I compare the blues to ice cream, they both satisfy in a way that their contemporaries can't.

Hey Mac, Muddy is great, don't skip Gatemouth Brown, Lonnie Mack, Albert King, Albert Collins or Howlin' Wolf.

I'll drop by from time to time and send you a picture or 2 every once in a while. I always enjoyed reading you at the DoubleD blog.

I figured I'd toss out a few more names without adding accoustic players.
Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Roy Buchanan, Duke Robillard and Peter Green.

An excellent CD: "Rattlesnake Guitar, the music of Peter Green" is sort of a tribute double cd of various artists doing Green's Fleetwood Mac songs.

Hopefully some of the musicians I mentioned will bring you as much pleasure as they have brought to me.

Ride easy Mac.

Really, the Blues is helping me work though some personal stuff.

I kind of made a mess here. I can't really clean this one up. I have to toss it out and start again....
