I'll get around to it, at some point.

I bought this old house a few of months ago.  I was supposed to be a little further along in the "fixing it up" process than I am now. Things happen, you know?

Really, it's mostly cosmetic things that need done.
Like getting rid of this awful blue paint in the Living Room

I went with neutral colors.

The floors are quite nice, and don't need a lot of work. Though, I'm sure this beast will change all that.

The house was built in the 1920s. At 1800sf, it's kind of big for me, the dog and our part-time roommate, my son.  But, I like the space. The big rooms and 10ft ceilings appeal to my male sensibilities

I will get around to finishing. I just happen to be kind of like this guy.

...In more ways than one might imagine

Reminds me of the 1920s fixer upper my friend just bought with her husband.

I also lived in a house like that a couple of years ago. It's a charming type of home.

Nice beast you have.

Wow that neutral paint makes a huge difference. Well done. I also love the hardwood floors.

The pooch is pretty sweet too.

All fine and good! But where do you park the Scooter? What about the SCOOTER? Blessings on your Son and Dog. But what about the scooter? Dewd!

Warrior. C'mon man! The bike is parked in the basement garage. Do you think I have NO priorities??

It's fun but a lot of work to make a house over, and it's all worth it. A fireplace is great to have!

Look at that sweet girl!

And hey! I love that blue paint!

Too late, Lion. I painted that room.

I've still got Baby-Shit Green in one bedroom, if ya like that color?

Uh. No thanks.

But the blue was pretty! Maybe not for a whole room but for a little piece or something. Maybe you can paint a shelf that color...

My god, that blue paint was like hungover-up-all-night-smells-like-stale-cigarette-smoke-ex-prom-queen blue. Yuck. Nice job on the makeover!

Hey, I'm just relaying, here.

I love colour but am rather fond of white walls at the moment. I gave up on wood floors as well - fed up with the doggy and catty stiletto's!

me and that guy = separated at birth, minus the getting to bed early.

Nice job with the painting. We've gone with all neutrals in our place as well. (I like livin' large ;-)

I dig the neutrals...

Been there, done that! In fact, I worked in remodel construction for 7 years. Yep, I pounded nails, re-roofed, tiled, and played in the mud. Need any help?

Have a great weekend!

You've done a nice job with the place ...and the beast is pretty sweet too! I LOVE labs!

The videos made me LOL...They (along with about 8 others by the same guy) made me lose an hour of my life that I will never get back.
Eh...at least it was an hour spent laughing :)
